Each year, the ITI selects a figure of world stature to share thier thoughts on the theme of Theatre and a Culture of Peace. Last year, Canadian Robert LePage was selected. I have had the honour of seeing LePage's work, and let me tell you, he is definitely a 'figure of world stature.' And then some. The ITI asks that the speech be read in theatres all over the world, prior to curtain, on March 27.
