From Timbuktu Media: In Nigeria, the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP) will begin the celebration on March 24. A carnival/exhibition featuring Gelede, Eyo and Zangbeto masquerades will take off at Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Council and terminate at the National Theatre. On the following day, Mary Lou Johnson-Pizzaro of the American Consulate; Jahman Anikulapo, Editor, Guardian on Sunday, and filmmaker Tunde Kelani, will participate in a lecture at the National Theatre.
