My name is Rebecca Coleman, and I am a theatre publicist and blogger in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Last year, our local theatre alliance, The Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance (GVPTA) used my services to get the word out 
about World Theatre Day, which is a UNESCO-sponsored event that happens every year on March 27. My efforts to get the word out on the local WTD celebrations was quite successful, but this year, it is my goal to make WTD a truly international event.
I am encouraging Theatre bloggers, writers, reviewers and lovers from all over the world to contribute to this site. Tell the world what you have planned for your own communities’ WTD 09 celebrations, and then share them with the world via blogging, photos, or video.
